DB Signee Cayden Bridges Breakdown

There were plenty of under the radar prospects after losing all other sources of exposure other than game film. Bridges was not an expected name a week ago, but he emerged after a major senior season. If you turn on his tape, it’s hard to deny that there is a bright future ahead of CB.

This is a prospect I had never heard of or taken a look at until about a week ago. I have to admit, I came away impressed.

CB is a safety who has excellent open field tackling skills and has a tendency to try to knock the ball carriers head off. While he is a physical safety type, I wouldn’t compare him to Monday (currently at AU) and Sherwood (Moving on to the NFL)

While he is in the same mold as those two, he’s more agile and quicker in his hips and feet. He scoots around the field with ease and plays like his hair is on fire: he’s a wild man.

There will most likely be a major learning curve for him in college as he is not a highly technical player at this stage. He relies on athleticism and instinct to make plays; he happens to posses an excellent feel for the back end of the defense. I absolutely love this last minute steal for Auburn.
